Last February 20th we attended the <eemeeting> “Buy, Sell, Inspire”, organized by the EEME Business School in Alicante.
A plurality of approaches, views, knowledge, interests and attitudes about a common topic, e-commerce, were raised in the meeting.
This led us to think about e-commerce and how these ways of selling through Internet are gaining importance in our country and worldwide.
According to the National Observatory of Telecommunications (ONTSI), this sector will grow by 13.4% in Spain, in 2015, until 12.383 million euros billing, so we should not loose track.
Electronics and clothes are the top products. Most shops around the world allow you to purchase by accessing their web sites from anywhere without the necessity of going in person to the store or traveling for a quickly and easily transaction. But this type of commerce is not only being applied by large companies, it is very useful for traditional shops since they can expand their coverage and thus attend more customers anywhere in the world.
From the presentations we could extract some keys that must be taken into account when opening an e-commerce such as:
1- the importance of the supply of an added value to customers
2- giving the same importance as other sales channels
3- creating a multichannel strategy
4- the influence of social networks
5- the power of mobile phones
And you, are you taking part in the change?
Here you can find an overview video.
